The Art of the Magic Lantern - tales and fantastical visions from before there were movies or TV Join us for an evening of 19th-century projected images – gather round to see the world and hear the story.
With Dr Richard Crangle, co-editor of The Encyclopaedia of the Magic Lantern and developer of the ‘Lucerna’ Magic Lantern Web Resource, the largest lantern slide database in the world, hosted in Exeter.
Proceeds raised will be donated to CoLab’s new Women’s Centre in Exeter. Suggested donation of £5 per person.
Victorian-inspired drinks and snacks will be available.
